| Bio: | I am a witch, though not a wiccan. (There is a considerable difference). No, this is not an RPG. I am a real person and I don't like video games, black clothing, Charmed or industrial music. If you saw me in the supermarket, you would never know I was a witch. You are more likely to find me at a jazz lounge than a goth club. I welcome questions, so don't be shy. I will NEVER be offended by an honest question, even if it is based in a misconception. But I do NOT tolerate delibrate, hateful witch-bashing. Nor do I tolerate bashing anyone's religious beliefs, including Christians. Having a non-mainstream religion is not a license to be intolerant of Christianity. Being treated badly by a few Christians does not mean you will be treated badly by all Christians and it is down right foolish to refuse to learn from a religion just because you disagree with the people who practice it. Everyone has their own spiritual path. My advice is to learn as much as you can from as many of them as you can. I myself have embarked on a series of varied spiritual paths, including the Teachings of Buddha, The Quran, the Teachings of Jesus, Shintoism, North American Shamanism, African Voodoo, Druidism, the Fgyptian Pantheon and The Greek Pantheons and have managed to incorporate all these things into my religious life. Witchcraft is very much about making spirituality your own and that's what I love about it. This journal is what witches call a Book of Shadows, which is really just a collection of spells, rituals, tidbits about the Craft. If you are interested, you are welcome to join me. If not, not.
